Suicide bomber kills 15 in Somalia
Mogadishu: A suicide bomber blew himself up at a military training camp in Somalia, injuring 15 people and wounding several others.
According to the International News Agency, a training camp was set up in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, for army recruits. There was a long line of personnel outside the camp when suddenly there was a loud explosion.
Somali army officer Mohammed Aden told the media that it was a suicide attack, the bomber standing in a line between the officers and blew himself up. The suicide attack killed 15 new recruits and injured several others. There is a chance in increase of casualties.
Security forces cordoned off the area after the blast and only ambulances are being allowed to leave. More than a dozen wounded have been taken to Medina Hospital in Mogadishu.
