National team captain Babar Azam won the toss and elected to field first.
The South African batsmen outscored the Pakistani bowlers, with skipper Temba Baumama scoring 92, Quentin de Kock 80, Van der Dawson 60, David Miller 50 lightning speed and Eden Markram 39.
The hosts scored 341 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
