Second day of Test match: Pakistan scored 374 runs against Zimbabwe
Pakistan scored 374 runs on the second day of the Test match against Zimbabwe. At the end of the game, Fawad Alam and Hassan Ali are on the wicket with 108 and 21 runs respectively.
Pakistan started the second day’s play with 103 runs without any loss. Opener Abid Ali was dismissed for 60 runs. Azhar Ali scored 36 runs
Captain Babar Azam was dismissed on the Golden Dick in the first Babar Test. Opener Imran Butt suffered a nervous nineties. He scored 91 runs. Fawad Alam scored a century. He is on 108 and Hassan Ali is on 21.
It may be recalled that the International Cricket Council (ICC) has released a new T20 ranking after the series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
Muhammad Rizwan, the vice-captain of the national team who won the Man of the Series award for his excellent batting in the three-match series, has joined the top 10 batsmen for the first time.
According to the ICC T20 rankings, Mohammad Rizwan is ranked 10th.
On the other hand, national team captain Babar Azam’s ranking has dropped one notch. Babar Azam has moved from second to third position in the batting rankings.
In the bowlers’ rankings, Shaheen Shah Afridi is 17th, Faheem Ashraf is 18th and Haris Rauf is 21st. In the team rankings, England is first, India is second, Australia is third and Pakistan is fourth.
It may be recalled that Pakistan had beaten Zimbabwe and South Africa by two wickets each in the three-match T20 series.
