Ronaldo: Portugal-Serbia match draw, footballer’s strong reaction to goal rejection and comments on social media
The football match between Portugal and Serbia was drawn with a draw of two, but just moments before the end of the match, the famous Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo left the ground in anger.
On Saturday, it was Serbia’s chance to qualify for the World Cup, but Portugal’s (and Liverpool’s) Diego Jotta scored two headers to give his side the lead.
Serbia came back in the second half, with Alexander Metrovic and Philip Kostak scoring one goal each.
But the visiting team Portugal was very angry when Ronaldo scored in the last minute of the match but the referee decided that he was stopped.
Many fans thought Ronaldo’s goal could have helped Portugal win the match, but some said the referee’s decision was the right one.
