Police attack in Mexico, kills 10 suspects in retaliation
MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Gunmen stormed a police station on Friday, killing at least 10 people and wounding dozens more, officials said.
According to international news agencies, a shootout between armed men and police took place in central Mexico, in which 4 suspects were also injured, who were taken to hospital after the operation.
According to officials, the incident took place when the suspects opened fire on the patrol officers. Apart from heavy weapons, military uniforms and bullet proof jackets were also seized from the spot during the operation.
