Pakistan’s historic victory in the third T20
Pakistan defeated South Africa by 9 wickets in the third T20 match. Babar Azam scored a magnificent century and Mohammad Rizwan scored an unbeaten half-century.
In the third T20 match being played at Centurion, Pakistan decided to win the toss and field. South Africa gave Pakistan a mountain-like target of 204 runs to win.
South Africa’s Janiman Milan (55), Aiden Markram (63) and George Linde (22) scored innings while Pakistan’s Muhammad Nawaz (2) and Fahim Ashraf (1) took wickets.
In pursuit of the target, captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan batted brilliantly, Babar Azam scored the first century of his career off 49 balls, he played an innings of 121 runs.
Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan provided the opening stand of 197 runs for Pakistan.
In the third T20 match played at Centurion, Pakistan made three changes while the South African team made one change.
