Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe in the third T20
Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 24 runs in the third T20 match to win the series 1-2.
In the match being played in Harare, the captain of the national cricket team Babar Azam decided to bat first after winning the toss. Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Rizwan started the innings for Pakistan.
Sharjeel Khan was dismissed for 18, but Rizwan continued his innings and batted brilliantly with captain Babar Azam. Babar Azam 52 and Fakhruzzaman were dismissed without scoring a run. Luke Jongwe took all three wickets for Zimbabwe.
For Zimbabwe, Musakanda 10, Marumani 35, Wesley Madhivera 59, Sean Williams 9 and Chakabawa were all out for no runs. Zimbabwe captain Brendon Taylor played an innings of 20 runs.
For Pakistan, Hassan Ali led 4 players to the pavilion while Mohammad Hasnain took one wicket.
Earlier, after winning the toss, captain Babar Azam said that three changes have been made in the team, Sarfraz Ahmed, Sharjeel Khan and Hassan Ali have returned to the team while Asif Ali, Danish Aziz and Arshad Iqbal have been dropped.
It should be noted that the three-match series between the two teams is one-on-one and the team that wins today’s match will be declared the winner of the series.
In the second T20 match, Zimbabwe defeated Pakistan by 19 runs.
In the last match, Pakistan failed to achieve the easy target of 119 runs given by Zimbabwe and the entire team was bowled out for 99 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
