Numerous gold and silver medals in 4 sisters weightlifting
Lahore: In Lahore, the capital of Punjab province, not one but four sisters have achieved countless successes in weightlifting and made a name for themselves and their country.
Lahore’s Twinkle Sohail, Veronica Sohail, Maryam Sohail and Sable Sohail have been competing in weightlifting for many years and have won numerous gold, silver and bronze medals so far.
The four sisters have also been awarded the Pride of Performance
He is pursuing his hobby in all four sports as well as continuing his education. All four have so far represented Pakistan in several international competitions.
While attending ARY News’ morning show Bakhbar Sawira, he said that his father used to play cricket and it was because of him that he developed a passion for sports.
Twinkle said that at first her family strongly opposed her father, her grandfather was also against it, but when her sister won the first gold medal, it was her grandfather who congratulated her first.
The four sisters say that the government does not support weightlifting which is why they participate in international competitions at their own expense. If the government supports them, they will make the country famous by participating in more competitions.
