Moin Ali refuses to brand alcohol in IPL
Moin Ali, a British player, removed the advertisement of alcohol from his kit in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
According to a foreign news agency, British player Moin Ali had requested the management of his team Chennai Super Kings that they could not wear a kit with this advertisement.
The management of Chennai Super Kings accepted Moin Ali’s request and only removed the alcohol advertisement from his kit.
In IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings bought British cricket team all-rounder Moin Ali for 70 million Indian rupees.
South Africa’s Hashim Amla also did not wear an alcohol advertising kit.
Earlier, Pakistani players, including Babar Azam, Azhar Ali, Emad Wasim and Fahim Ashraf, refused to promote alcohol, while Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan also refused to wear an alcoholic shirt.
