Human rights violations in Palestine, Pakistan got another major diplomatic victory
ISLAMABAD: The United Nations Human Rights Council has passed a resolution tabled by Pakistan to investigate human rights violations in Palestine.
According to details, Pakistan got another major diplomatic victory in the UN Human Rights Council, the UN Human Rights Council passed a resolution to investigate human rights violations in Palestine by Pakistan.
The resolution called for an investigation into human rights abuses by Israel.
Welcoming the adoption of the resolution by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, he lauded the hard work and performance of Pakistani missions in New York, Geneva.
Pakistan, representing the OIC, had requested a meeting and an inquiry into human rights violations in Palestine.
In this regard, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that our resolution in the Human Rights Council was successful, human rights violations in Gaza will be investigated, the Commission of Inquiry will investigate and form its opinion.
