George Lande revealed a plan to “surround” Muhammad Rizwan
JOHANNESBURG: South African all-rounder George Lande has revealed a plan to “surround” Mohammad Rizwan.
“We deliberately deployed Eden Markram at mid-off instead of the 30-meter circle so that Rizwan could play a high shot, I’m glad he played the first ball out and we got the wicket,” Lande told a virtual press conference. It was our plan that succeeded, we were happy to send them back soon because we knew how much they could hurt us once they were settled.
It should be noted that Pakistan’s in-form wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed on the first ball in the second T20.
