Former Australian cricketer Tom Moody appointed Sri Lanka Cricket director
Sri Lanka has appointed former Australian cricketer and former head coach Tom Moody as director of cricket.
A statement from Cricket Sri Lanka said the technical advisory committee had recommended the appointment of Tom Modi, 55, as director of cricket based on his knowledge and experience with the cricket system.
A statement from the Sri Lankan board said that Modi would have to complete a 300-day assignment during his three-year tenure as a consultant.
Cricket Sri Lanka CEO Ashley de Silva says Tom Modi has worked with the Sri Lanka Cricket Board in the past and he has done well.
