Everyone can be creative through training
Columbus, Ohio: Psychologists and neuroscientists say that creativity is not innate and can be learned through acquired training.
We often divide people into creative and non-creative groups. But now it is known that even ordinary people can become creators by getting many practical training. That is, everyone is rich in creativity and needs to be used.
According to scientists, it is necessary for people to undergo narrative acquisition or narcocognition. In this our brain is affected by the action, the causes and the consequences, and this is exactly the method we use to create and tell the story.
According to experts, evidence-based observations and story-based dramas in children and adolescents are an example of narrative acquisition by which they cultivate their imagination. That is why children are a little more creative than adults. But sadly, as a society we neglect the creativity of children. On the other hand, we also consider the other as more creative than the other.
That is why experts insist that we are not teaching the creative process properly. Now Angus Fletcher, a scientist at Ohio University, and his colleagues have used the ancient Greek creative method of storytelling.
Experts used it in a slightly modified way which had three parts: first, to create a new world around it, second, to change the intellectual tendency and third, to give place to action.
It can now be used in everyday situations like this: Company employees are asked to imagine what would happen if each of their customers became an extraordinary customer (creating a new world), or what would happen if an employee were put in another position. (Ideological change) And what if two ideas are combined or two people with different tendencies work on the same thing (example of action).
In this way, people come out of their shells and thus creativity can be created in them. That is why scientists have emphasized on recruiting people of different ages, classes and experiences in institutions. Then they should be trained in creative thinking. This can be of great benefit to small and large companies.
