The England and Wales Cricket Board has assured that the tour of the team players will be available for Pakistan and Bangladesh.
According to the England Cricket Board, the contracted players will be available for the tour of Pakistan and Bangladesh. Instead of participating in any league, national duty will have to be given priority.
According to British media, the ECB has urged the players to keep in mind their national duty before participating in any league.
The IPL has been postponed following the recent wave of Corona and is now scheduled to take place in September-October, but the England and Wales Cricket Board has asked its players to remain alert for national duty.
Team Director Ashley Giles gave a message to England’s contracted cricketers to give priority to national duty.
It may be recalled that the England team is scheduled to visit Pakistan this year after 16 years and T20 matches are scheduled in the tour while the England team is to play a series in Pakistan and Bangladesh before the T20 World Cup.
