Dhoni’s six not only helped India win 2011 World Cup, Gautam Gambhir reveals 10 years later
Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has said that we did not win the World Cup in 2011 only because of Dhoni’s six, Yuvraj Singh also played an important role in it which was declared man of the match.
It may be recalled that India had won the World Cup on April 2, 2011 by defeating Sri Lanka. Gautam Gambhir had scored 97 in the final against Sri Lanka.
“Do you think only one person won the World Cup for us?” If one could win the World Cup, India could have won all the World Cups so far.
Unfortunately, only a few people are accepted in India and I never believed that. In a team game, individuals have no place.
