Beijing overtook New York
Business magazine Forbes has released a list of the world’s billionaires.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, Forbes has released a list of the top 10 cities of the world’s billionaires.
According to Forbes, Beijing has surpassed New York as the world’s richest billionaire, with 2,755 members in the 2021 Forbes global list, 25 percent of whom live in ten cities.
More than 10 percent live in five major Chinese cities, including 100 in Beijing, 80 in Hong Kong, 68 in Shenzhen, 64 in Shanghai and 47 in Hangzhou.
Forbes says the net profit of billionaires in all 10 cities was recorded, reflecting the global growth of billionaires over the past year.
There are 48 billionaires in San Francisco and Mumbai, 63 in London, 79 in Moscow and 99 in New York.
China’s rise to the top of the list of billionaires is being attributed to overcoming the Corona situation and the development of technology companies.
