Another journalist killed in Afghanistan, 5 in two months
Another journalist was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Afghanistan. Five members of the media have been killed in Afghanistan in the past two months.
According to Afghan officials, journalist Bismillah Adil was shot dead by gunmen near Feroz Koh in Ghor province yesterday.
The 28-year-old journalist was the editor-in-chief of a local radio station. No group has claimed responsibility for the killing.
Afghanistan has seen an increase in targeted killings of journalists, government officials and human rights activists in recent days.
