Angioplasty at the Murali Dharan Masonry Hospital in Sri Lanka
Sri Lankan sniper Mathiya Murali Dharan, who has taken the most wickets in the world of cricket, has undergone angioplasty at a hospital in Chennai, India.
Cricket website ESPN has tweeted on its Twitter account quoting Murali Dharan that a stunt was inserted to open an artery in the cricketer’s heart.
According to the tweet, after being discharged from Murali Dharan Hospital, IPL team Sunrisers will rejoin Hyderabad.
Murali Dharan is in India for IPL 2021 and is part of the coaching staff of Sun Riser Hyderabad.
Murali Dharan, who retired from cricket in 2010, is the first bowler in the world to take 800 wickets in Test cricket and so far no one has been able to break his record.
After the Sri Lankan legend sniper, Australian sniper Shane Warren is second with 708 wickets while India’s sniper Anil Kumble is third among the highest wicket takers in Test cricket with 619 wickets.
