A search operation destroyed an Afghan army vehicle, killing four, including the commander
KABUL: Militants opened fire on a military vehicle during a search operation in Afghanistan, killing four personnel, including the commander.
According to the International News Agency, during the search operation in Balkh province of Afghanistan, a fierce clash took place between the army and the militants, during which the militants fired shells at the military vehicle, one of which hit the target and the vehicle was completely destroyed.
Shaheen Corps Commander Nusratullah Yameen was also present in the vehicle, as a result of which the commander along with 3 personnel were killed on the spot while 3 other personnel were injured, one of whom is said to be in critical condition.
