6.1 magnitude earthquake shakes India and Bangladesh
New Delhi: Earthquake tremors were felt in different cities of India and Bangladesh.
According to the US Geological Survey, a magnitude 6.1 earthquake shook the border areas of Bangladesh, India and Myanmar.
According to Indian media, the tremors were felt in northeastern India. The quake had a depth of 12 km and its epicenter was 140 km from northeastern India.
The quake affected Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, and other cities, including Chittagong.
The quake affected Myanmar, Bhutan and China. No casualties were reported.
